Adding Moods To A Forum Post

Forum Mood Example

What Is A Forum Mood?

A "mood" is an optional image that can be added to a forum post to indicate what "mood" a post was written in. Examples of moods include "angry", "confused", "excited", "angelic" etc. Forum moods are selected at the time of posting and appear directly under the member's username (see example to the right of screen).

Adding A Mood

To add a mood image to your forum posts, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to your chosen forum topic. Click the "new topic" or "post reply" button (depending on the type of post).
  2. You will be taken to the forum posting screen (refer below).

  3. Click on the dropdown list next to the label "Mood". This option appears directly under your username which is filled in for you automatically.
  4. Select a mood from the dropdown list (refer below).

  5. Type and format your post in the space provided.
  6. Click the "submit" button at the bottom of the screen to submit your post (or the "preview" button to preview first).

That's it! When your completed post is displayed, your chosen mood image should also be displayed. If you require further assistance, please contact us for direct help.
